Pastor Warner J. Pitts
Pastor Warner J. Pitts has been on the battle field for the Lord for many years. He accepted his call to Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1990 and served faithfully as an Associate Minister under the leadership of Pastor E.F. Ledbetter Jr. Pastor Warner J. Pitts ministered in different roles in ministry from teaching Sunday School, serving in the Media Ministry, directing and leading the choir and other capacities. He understood that hard work and dedication to his calling was required by God.
He served with passion and zeal for God’s people and leadership until the Holy Spirit elevated him higher to assist Pastor Hardin Perkins, of the St. James Industrial M.B.C. He served Pastor Perkins faithfully until Pastor Perkins retired and named Warner J. Pitts the new Pastor of the St. James Industrial in March of 2000. After becoming Pastor, he went to work by ministering the gospel and building God’s people spiritually to become Self-Sufficient Christians, which is the church’s motto. While in this transition, Pastor Warner J. Pitts was led to serve under Dr. Walter P. Turner III, whom is the Pastor of New Spiritual Light of Chicago, IL.
Pastor Pitts is a very passionate and fiery servant of God that transform the Word of God to pierce the heart of man and encourage, inspire and uplift God’s people. He is a man of God who has a strong desire to reach the lost by offering salvation and sound teaching of the Holy Scriptures and to strengthen the body of baptized believers by teaching biblically sound based doctrine and exercising our faith. His mission is to also strengthen the family unit and to provide a positive presence in the Englewood community of Chicago, IL
Pastor Warner J. Pitts is the husband of over twenty-five years to Lady Chandra Pitts. He is the father of their three lovely children; two sons, Devin LaShawn and Donovan Jeremiah and one daughter; Harmony Da’Nadja. His prayer is that God’s Will be done in their lives so that they can be a blessing to the Kingdom of God for the perfecting of the saints assigned to their destiny.
First Lady Chandra L. Pitts
Chandra L. Pitts started serving the Lord at an early age. After being baptized, she was endowed with His Holy Spirit and has been on the battlefield for the Lord ever since.
Chandra served faithfully under the leadership of Pastor Ledbetter Jr. at Greater Mt Hebron M.B.C. until her husband, Warner J. Pitts was promoted by God to Pastor over the St. James Industrial M.B. Church in March of 2000. She joined under his leadership in July 1, 2000 and shortly after received her calling to Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After finally accepting the Will of God for her life, she announced her calling in February of 2006, but due to the birth of her daughter, she preached her first sermon a year later, which was March 9, 2007.
Lady Chandra is a mighty woman of God who acknowledges Him in her ways that she may receive His counsel to lead His people. Chandra is a mover and a shaker that works faithfully to building God’s Kingdom and serves in many capacities within ministry while obtaining her Master’s in Human Resource, building a successful event planning business, which is called Exquisite Events, LLC and working a secular job in her field.
