Pastor Warner J. Pitts
Pastor Warner J. Pitts has devoted his life to serving the Lord, answering the call to preach the Gospel in 1990. He began his ministry as an Associate Minister under the leadership of Pastor E.F. Ledbetter Jr., faithfully serving in various roles, including Sunday School teacher, Media Ministry member, and choir director. Understanding that true ministry requires both dedication and hard work, he remained steadfast in his calling.
With a heart for God’s people, Pastor Pitts continued to serve with passion and humility until the Holy Spirit led him to assist Pastor Hardin Perkins at St. James Industrial M.B. Church. After years of faithful service, he was appointed as Pastor in March 2000, following Pastor Perkins’ retirement. Since then, he has been committed to ministering the Gospel and equipping believers to become self-sufficient Christians, a core mission of St. James Industrial M.B.C.
During his pastoral journey, Pastor Pitts sought further spiritual guidance under Dr. Walter P. Turner III, Pastor of New Spiritual Light Church in Chicago, IL. His dynamic preaching and deep passion for God’s Word challenge, encourage, and uplift those who hear him. He is dedicated to offering salvation, teaching sound biblical doctrine, and strengthening the body of Christ through faith-driven leadership.
Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Pitts is committed to empowering families and making a positive impact in the Englewood community of Chicago. His mission is to build strong, faith-filled families and provide hope and guidance to those in need.
Pastor Warner J. Pitts has been happily married for over 25 years to Lady Chandra Pitts, and together, they are the proud parents of three wonderful children: Devin LaShawn, Donovan Jeremiah, and Harmony Da’Nadja. His prayer is that God’s will continues to unfold in their lives so that they may be a blessing to the Kingdom and help perfect the saints called to their purpose.
First Lady Chandra L. Pitts
From an early age, Lady Chandra L. Pitts dedicated her life to serving the Lord. After her baptism, she was filled with the Holy Spirit and has remained steadfast in her faith ever since.
She faithfully served under the leadership of Pastor Ledbetter Jr. at Greater Mt. Hebron M.B.C. until March 2000, when her husband, Pastor Warner J. Pitts, was called to lead St. James Industrial M.B. Church. She officially joined under his leadership on July 1, 2000, and soon after, she received her calling to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After embracing God's will for her life, she publicly announced her calling in February 2006. However, due to the birth of her daughter, she delivered her first sermon on March 9, 2007.
Lady Chandra is a passionate woman of God who seeks His guidance in all she does. She is a dedicated servant, leader, and visionary, tirelessly working to build God’s Kingdom. She serves in various ministries while also pursuing her Master’s degree in Human Resources, managing her successful event planning business, Exquisite Events, LLC, and excelling in her professional career.
Through faith, determination, and unwavering commitment, Lady Chandra continues to empower and uplift those around her, leading by example in both ministry and life.
